Installation


We have now improved the code in our Modchip to combat problems which affected some V3, V4 and V9 consoles. The GND bounce problem has now been eliminated.

Upgrade function


The DMS3 Plus boasts a faster and more reliable flash upgrade process. Our tests show a 97% success rate on first attempt.

Flash upgrade compatibility


Future flash upgrades written for DMS3 Plus will also be backwards comaptible with DMS3 1.0,2.0 and V9.

 

The Modbo 4.0 is a clone of the original Matrix Infinity range of PS2 mod chips. One of the major improvements Modbo 4 has over other Matrix clones is its better compatibility with DVD 9 and runs dual layer much better then older models. Modbo 4.0 comes on a differently laid out pcb to earlier model Modbo chips, allowing for a slightly neater install. There are a few clones of the Matrix Infinity floating around, Modbo , AppleEx , Matrix Infinity SE and some more. The good thing about these chips is you are getting most of the functions of the original Matrix Infinity at the fraction of the cost. The Modbo 4 also has auto media detection for direct booting and All Region DVD Support. The Modbo 4 also comes with a Diode fix for the PSTwo Slimline v12.

 

 

 

VAST, which is a PS2 (PlayStation 2) Mod chip in the form of a memory card. This modchip you don't need to open your console at all, its a plug and play on Any PS2, pull it straight out of the box, plug a VAST in the memory card slot, and the console is modded! You can take the VAST to your friends out, and BAM, your friend now has a modded PS2 while its plugged in!

If you can mod a console without opening it (i.e. without voiding the warranty) then it is pretty much the ultimate mod. The 'scene' went crazy, trying to find out who made it, and when it would be available. The product gained way too much attention, and the makers, probably worried about legal issues, disappeared

The Memor32 is explained in detail below. Basically it is a 32MB (mega bytes) memory card for the PS2 that has a usb plug on it. The USB plug allows you to connect the memory card to the computer so that you can transfer saved games off the memory card, and to your computer using memor32 made software. You can then email it to your friends anywhere, and they can play your saves.

'Team Memento' hacked the firmware on the Memor32. Their base firmware allowed you to play backups or your ps2 games....sweet! Since then they have proved that they are a highly motivated team that will keep on spitting out firmware updates all the time, until the memor32 is not only the ultimate ps2 modchip, but a modchip that the most features.

 

Argon SPI - Installation Diagram

The InFeCtuS Argon Wii is based on an 350 MHz Actel A3P-125 FPGA, which is programmable through a JTAG connector - in conjunction with either an InFeCtuS 2 device or an Injectus programmer. It has features similar to the D2CKey, and as of firmware v1.3 supports region-free play.

 

The Argon d2c modchip is a new modchip from the infectus team.

It is only a 13 or 9 wire install and is fully upgradeable. (optional easy to solder 4 extra wire for import and region compatability)
It is currently the most advanced Nintendo Wii Modchip available.
It offers all of the features of the d2ckey with half the wires and its upgradeable.

The InFeCtuS team have said a soon to be released firmware will lower the wire count from 16 to 10 for the D2C chipset as a result of the new competition from the Wasabi modchip. It will also introduce support for all the current Wii chipsets rather than just the D2C chipset (wire count for non-D2C chipsets will be 6). Also the update will grant the ability to upgrade the modchips firmware via DVD - despite InFeCtuS recommending the JTAG connector as the preferred upgrade method.
