Dear Sir I have a Sony playstation 2 (SCPH-79004) with board GH-062-02 and I want to modify it to play free games, boot on import, backups, ntsc, pal games. I read that there are a lot of (mod)chips available (e.g. Infinity 1.88) but I don't know the differences between them. Please can you explain me what kind of chips are available for my board and what are the differences between them. Can you also give me the price of this chip and the pictures how to install the chip on the board. Is the modification directly active when the chip is soldered on the board or must the chip be programmed / updated by myself (I expect that the FPGA is pogrammed)? Regards M. Swarzkopff
